Fall Visitors: The Bunnies

Once upon a time it was a lovely fall day, Vice Principal Perez couldn't help but say, "I think I'll visit the garden today." Later, students playing near the jungle gym, made a discovery along the gym's rim. Hmm....

Then there were five little bunnies just three inches long, all huddled together and trying to stay warm.

Nurse Fox to the rescue and to our delight, she relocated the bunnies to do what was right. After a couple of days of tender loving care, the bunnies were ready to explore... but did they dare?

Finally, Nurse Fox's children spring the bunnies from their crate, and last we heard they're doing just great!

Special thanks to all who helped the bunnies, including Nurse Fox's family who monitored the bunny intake and stools, Mr. Fox who served as photographer and photo e-mail uploader, and Mrs. McDowell who loaned the bunny cage.

Ms. Avina's students: Can you find any rhyming words, contractions, and sequencing words that we've been studying?
