Science & Technology: Digital Microscopes Come To Campus!

Once upon a time at Leon Valley Elementary School the Ken-O-Vision Microprojector was all the rage! If students wanted to share viewing, they might use something like this:

(Special thanks to our librarian, Mr. John Tuller, for his interest and research in bringing the history of this retro microprojector "to light"... yes, it still works!)

Now, thanks to participation in a Girlstart Digital Detectives training on Saturday, April 28, the following teachers received and were trained to use a digital microscope in their classroom that looks like this:
